"I feel like I was finally let into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, the world of color and candy and freedom. I knew it existed but for the first time in years, I wasn't barricading the doors."
During the retreat. I indulged. I forgot. I forgot why I used to see only black and white. I went to bed each night with a sugar high. When I left the retreat, I devised ways to sneak some candy with me home. But the chocolate river is ever-flowing within me. I was assured the candy (the JOY) already existed the whole time within me, I need not worry, just for today. Upon re-entering my life, people could see they could feel the brightness, lips stained, eyes wide stomach, full chest, expanded. I was so in love with life again. So much so that I realized that my baseline the past few years, which had been much better than some depressed periods I've had in the past, was not authentic or fair. I watched my mom see that I finally believe all of her kind words. I watched my partner see the girl he fell in love with four and a half years ago. I remembered.

Before the retreat I was feeling so lost. I didn't know where my value lied. I just prayed it was there. These women, the ones I now call my sisters, saw me clearer than I'd ever been seen before. They led me home to myself. I learned how powerful trust faith and love is on a whole other level. I learned the power of witnessing and that I'm good at it. I learned that people can't see you when they don't see themselves. I learned / remembered that the right ones will see you, appreciate you and value you. They each showed me parts of myself that I love and I'm proud of and that I want to access and appreciate. Where am I now? I am home.

I came into this experience with a little fear and uncertainty but also knowing that this is right. And dam was I right. Dam dam dam, earth shattering. I moved past more blocks up level to a higher self consciousness and five days and I hadn't five years of therapy reading, consuming self help and personal development shit. Yes, that built a strong foundation to work from. But it is very apparent to me that it was in the action and the interaction where the real magic happens, transformation. This is not a temporary fix either. At the end of a particularly moving chapter or podcast episode, perhaps I would jot down some notes and determined to put these newly acquired lessons to work in my life. But this experience, this was a tsunami, a flood washing over me cleansing me of, of what was not serving me. I am so eternally grateful. I led myself back to myself.

Hey, I'm Samantha, heres my story.
I'll never forget the day I received my first Reiki attunement. My psychic senses activated in ways I never knew were possible. I felt an inner peace and a profound connection to everything and everyone around me—a feeling I had heard about but never actually experienced. For the first time, I saw the magic within me and truly believed in it. I always knew I was intuitive, that I could “sense” things about people and my destiny. I had a strong premonition of events before they happened. During my first Reiki retreat as a curious student, everything became crystal clear. I am at my most magnetic when I am relaxed, when I trust, and when I see the divinity in women rather than comparing myself to them. For the first time, colors had texture, sounds had feelings, and my visualizations became as clear and vivid as reality. The possible paths for my future were laid out in front of me. My mind became calmer, my core solid. Suddenly, I wasn't interested in constantly distracting myself with podcasts, music, and Instagram 24/7. I was called home, deep inside myself, to a place of knowing—knowing what I wanted, what I deserved, and what I am here to do. And for the first time in my life, I wasn't scared of my power. I was ready. I never planned on teaching Reiki. I had a thriving coaching business working with creatives and entrepreneurs, helping them grow their businesses. But this calling is so much bigger than me, so I followed the magic, and it led me to you. I am so grateful you're here.
